🇲🇾One-day tour in Penang, Malaysia

Thanks to the cruise ship, I returned to Penang, a city of food and Chinese people, after many years. George Town is listed as a World Cultural Heritage. The alleys contain a lot of street art, famous murals such as "Sister and Brother Riding Together" and "Boy's Red Motorcycle". There are also many authentic Malaysian delicacies and snacks that make people linger 😋

🌟 There are many cast iron works on the streets of George Town, which has led to many murals created by artists, describing the common people in a cartoon and humorous way; I especially love the literary and artistic style overflowing in the alleys, cafes, craft galleries or clothing stores attract young customers, and there are many special design hotels, which are deeply loved by backpackers!

🌟Food: I love Malaysian food because I have a strong taste for it. For example, fried rice noodles are stir-fried with soy sauce, chili, white shrimp, bean sprouts, chives and eggs, which are savory and fragrant. Another favorite is the thick soup base of Fujian shrimp noodles, paired with chewy yellow noodles or rice noodles that can absorb the soup. The hotter and more sweaty it is, the better it tastes. 😂 Nasi lemak is also a must-try. The inexplicably delicious crispy chicken legs are paired with the fragrant rice that is famous for coconut milk and pandan leaves, and chili sauce or sambal sauce is a must. Other dishes such as satay, Hainanese chicken and bak kut teh are also not to be missed.

🌟 I also think the Zhou Bridge, which is a unique wooden house on the sea in Penang, is worth seeing. In the past, people lived on each bridge according to their surnames. The longest bridge extends 500 meters into the sea. You can see the life characteristics of the people living on the water. The riverside scenery is really unique with the snacks!

🌟Little India: There are many Indians in the area because the British colonial government encouraged new immigrants in the past, which led to the current racial integration. Instantly feel the colorful street furnishings, filled with traditional saris, gold jewelry shops and cheap jewelry stores. I specially did a Henna Tattoo. It is the most important skin art for women in the Middle East and India. Henna is called henna in Chinese and is considered a herb that brings good luck. Especially at weddings, the bride must wear gorgeous clothes and gold, and paint her hands to symbolize future happiness and wealth❤️

💯The advantage of Malaysia as a travel destination is that it is close to the airport and has no time difference. The local consumption in Penang is also relatively cheap. You can definitely eat happily and shop to your heart's content!
