[Trip to Penang Island, Malaysia] A tour of cute and delicious ice cream shops!

Penang, Malaysia, is known as a city of gourmet food. This time, I will introduce three ice cream shops in Penang that I like and are good for eating while walking 🫶

[1. Ciao Gelato | Penang]
It was very hot, so I stopped by this shop for a break. I wanted something refreshing, so I ordered two gelatos, and both the ambarella (kedongdong) and the calamansi were delicious! It's great to be able to try flavors that aren't available in Japan 👍 The staff are friendly and kind, and they give you a whole bottle of water, so it's a great place to drink water while walking!

[2. Mimiya ( by Fruitmade )]
A fruit ice cream and juice stand with an eat-in space. The signature menu item, dragon fruit ice cream, is not only visually stunning, but also tastes great. It costs about 500 yen, but if you eat it in Japan, it would easily cost over 1000 yen.
The juice is also refreshing and delicious! The general store inside the store is cute with many fruit-related items, so be sure to check it out! The staff are also kind and I recommend it!

【3. Ludwig Softserve】
A stylish soft serve ice cream shop on Armenia Street. On this day, I was able to choose from four flavors and try them. The Himalayan sea salt milk soft serve was saltier than I expected, but it had a refreshing taste and was the perfect flavor for a hot day. I topped it with macarons and penguin meringues to make it look cute🐧

All of these shops are not only beautiful to look at, but also delicious to eat!
If you go to Penang, be sure to visit them♪
