Shocked: Chengdu Longxing Temple actually hides the real body of Sakyamuni

I finally climbed up this Indian-style pagoda‼ ️‼ ️‼ ️
Standing in front of the mountain gate and looking up, you can see an 81-meter-high "Vajra Throne Relic Pagoda" towering into the sky. Inside this solemn pagoda, there are countless Buddha statues, each of which radiates the light of faith.
This is the Sakyamuni Relic Pagoda in Longxing Temple, Pengzhou, Chengdu.

After Sakyamuni Buddha's Nirvana, his relics were divided into 84,000 parts and scattered around the world. During the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty, a Chinese monk, with a pious heart, traveled to the ancient Kingdom of Ceylon (now Sri Lanka) after going through untold hardships. His sincere and firm faith moved the king, and he was eventually gifted 12 precious Buddha relics. The Longxing Temple in Chengdu was even more blessed and received three of the relics, making it a shining pearl among the Buddhist holy places.
The exterior of the tower is inlaid with bricks, stones and transparent glass. Through the glass, you can see the 1,080 Buddha statues enshrined inside. Some are cast in bronze, some are carved in jade. They are in various shapes and lifelike, as if telling ancient Buddhist stories.
Walking into the tower and climbing up the pagoda, there are a total of 17 floors. Each floor has murals or Buddha statues that describe rich Buddhist stories. During the climbing process, people seem to travel through time and space, converse with history, and resonate with faith.
✅Today's Longxing Temple Pagoda was rebuilt on the original site by Master Neng Hai in 1948 with funds raised from all over the place.
The original tower was a 34.5-meter-high brick tower with a dense-eaves structure. From the Northern and Southern Dynasties to the Sui and Tang Dynasties, from man-made destruction of Buddhism to earthquake disasters, this pagoda of Sakyamuni's true body relics has experienced unimaginable hardships and eventually became incomplete.
In order to protect the relics in the pagoda and spread Buddhism, Master Neng Hai personally went to the Bodhi Field in Kolkata, India, to obtain a sample of the Vajra Pagoda, and carefully referred to the style of the Great Stupa of the Mahabodhi Temple in Bodh Gaya, one of the most important holy places of Indian Buddhism. He first successfully built a sample pagoda on the east side of the temple before starting construction.
The one main tower + four corner towers we see today are typical features of Indian Buddhist architecture.
