Compared to Mount Qingcheng, I love this lesser-known beginner-friendly hiking trail even more

I didn’t expect there to be such a hidden gem vacation spot near Chengdu.
It has natural hot springs, waterfalls, an ecological monkey area, easy hiking trails, and go-kart experiences.
You can earn a medal after completing the check-in,
or just relax and enjoy a leisurely vacation with hot springs and delicious food~
I’ve put together a two-day, one-night travel guide for everyone. Save it and go enjoy the autumn!

Day 1️⃣: Depart from Chengdu — check into hotel — have lunch at Shishang Restaurant — go-kart experience — soak in hot springs — dinner at the hotel
Day 2️⃣: Have pizza/coffee at Yunli Coffee — hike Huilonggou — return to Chengdu

🚗 Self-driving: About 1.5 hours from Chengdu

✔️ Hiking check-in medal route
There are two hiking routes in the scenic area, divided into Huilonggou and Taiyangwan. I chose the Huilonggou route.
Visitor Center ➡️ Feitian Waterfall ➡️ Longmen Ancient Temple ➡️ Qianchi Waterfall ➡️ Shallow Water Play Area ➡️ Pearl Curtain Waterfall ➡️ Shigu (end point to receive medal) ➡️ sightseeing bus return trip

Hiking tips for check-in:
🍂 Hiking duration: 3 to 4 hours one way
🍂 You can also hike along the sightseeing bus route; the bus stops at each attraction, and you can enter the forked paths and return the same way!
🍂 Recently, you’ll need a lightweight raincoat, non-slip shoes, and it’s best to wear a windbreaker since mountain weather is changeable
🍂 The go-kart is super exciting and fun; don’t miss it if the weather is good
