"Paradise on Earth" Have you ever been to this European seaside town?

#JulyDestinations2025
🇲🇪Perast, Montenegro, nestled in the mountains deep within the Bay of Kotor, is an ancient town steeped in history. Today, Perast remains a tranquil, unpretentious haven.

🚌Transportation: From Kotor, you can choose between buses, taxis, or private cars. If possible, I recommend driving, as it allows for easy navigation through the city's streets and alleys, making for a highly photographic experience.

🏖Attractions
In the bay where Perast lies, there are two beautiful islands: St. George's Rock (Sveti Đorđe) and Our Lady of the Rocks (Gospa od Škrpjela). Each island boasts an exquisite 17th-century church. Our Lady of the Rocks is an artificial island, the only one in the Adriatic Sea. 1. St. George Island, a small, natural island, boasts a church where many Perast sailors are buried. It might sound a bit solemn, but once you step inside, you'll discover it's more like a silent museum dedicated to a maritime epic.
2. Our Lady of the Rocks Island, a man-made structure, is even more legendary.
3. The island's church not only houses a collection of silver plates documenting the glory of navigation, but also features 68 Baroque paintings – a perfect fusion of art and history!
4. Venetian-style architecture is everywhere, creating postcard-worthy scenery in every photo.
🏝Imagine strolling along the bay, surrounded by azure waters, exquisite old buildings, and a few lazy seagulls. It's like being in a relaxing movie.
🛥By the way, remember to take a boat trip to the island; the immersive feeling is simply magical!
