Barefoot Bliss: Perhentian in 3D2N for Under RM600

Did a 3D2N trip to Perhentian Island under RM600—and no, I didn’t get stranded with crabs (just photobombed by them). Took a budget bus to Kuala Besut (RM90 return), ferry to the island (RM70), stayed in a basic beach chalet (RM200), and spent the rest (RM240) snorkeling, nasi goreng-ing, and living my barefoot island fantasy. Swam with turtles, got roasted by the sun, and chased sunsets like a full-time job.

Budget tip: Travel off-peak, book ferry + chalet combo packages, and eat at local warungs instead of resort cafés—same sea view, better sambal.
