Royale Chulan Damansara, Mutiara Damansara.

In between subdued opulence, and a practical tendency of catering to a steady flow of guests, Royale Chulan Damansara is one hotel that would not be sidelined amongst the list of good local hotels to visit. Its lobby has a tad of an aged luxurious ambiance of higher-class hotels, just a bit, compacted into a limited, yet well-furnished space. In addition, the eclectic collection of paintings adorning the walls, as well as a full medieval-style armor set on display in front of the Camelot and the Harlequin Room entice the artistic and historic senses. Then, there is the coffee house, with a view of the ice skating rink nearby. Upstairs from the lobby, one might find a display piano, and a leather sofa for a classic touch next to a balcony with an elevated view. If so inclined, waiting guests might also use the Rest-N-Go massage chairs available near the stairs. While to say that Royale Chulan Damansara is overly opulent is pretty inaccurate, it is definitely right to consider it to have a certain distinctive brush of highbrow local culture, tastefully translated into a neighborhood setting.
