It's tiring, but I've done a round trip on the same day. Departing at dawn and arriving at night.

💵Entrance fee: 50JD per day/1JD for locals or foreigners with residence permits

▫️Before Christ, Petra was the capital of the Nabatean kingdom, and it is said that these Nabateans built Al Khazneh.
▫️They say that water used to flow here, and traces of it remain on the roadside.

✔️It feels much farther from the Petra ticket office to Al Khazneh than you think. (It’s really hot in the summer🥵
I gave a tip and rode a horse to reduce my stamina.

✔️They ask for a tip when going up the hill, saying that an expert should guide you.

If you go up that hill, you can take a pretty picture with the Al Khazneh view. (You should also give a tip when taking a picture here.)

✔️You can ride a donkey on the road past Al Khazneh and up the other hill.

I rode a donkey without thinking, but the road was quite steep, so I had to rely on the donkey to go up without any safety equipment, and it was scary🤧and the donkey looked tired.😢

I didn’t ride a donkey when I visited Petra after that….
