Wat Nang Chi Chotikaram, or simply Wat Nang Chi, is a third-class royal temple located in the Pak Khlong Phasi Charoen subdistrict, Phasi Charoen district, Bangkok. It is one of the beautiful temples on the Thonburi side of the river with a long history.

It is believed to have been built during the mid-Ayutthaya period. Legend has it that Chao Phraya Phichitchaimontri, Phraya Ruechai Narong, and Ok Luang Senasunthon collaborated to build the temple. The reason for its construction was that Mae Im, Chao Phraya Phichitchaimontri's daughter, became ill for no apparent reason. Chao Phraya Phichitchaimontri dreamed of a white-robed nun who told him to make a vow to ordain his daughter as a nun and heal her. When Mae Im recovered, he fulfilled his vow by ordaining her as a nun and built the temple.

✅ Devotees come to pay their respects and pray for good fortune, advancement, and success in life.

⏰⏰⏰ The temple is open for visits and worship during:
8:00 AM - 6:00 PM

💞Recommended: We recommend paying respects to Luang Por Duang Dee, the Buddha image of the Palelai posture, the birth Buddha image for those born on Wednesday. Then, make merit by donating a set of white robes to a nun (59 baht per set). He is renowned for granting blessings for finances and careers to the nuns.
