Take the train to Wat Mahathat, Phetchaburi
Take the Thonburi-Langsuan train, departing from Thonburi Station at 07:20 AM and arriving at Phetchaburi Station at 10:39 AM. The fare is 31 baht.
The train arrives in Phetchaburi quite on time. Walk out of the station, cross the street, and take a small songthaew to Wat Mahathat. The fare is 30 baht.
Wat Mahathat Worawihan, Phetchaburi, is located in the heart of Phetchaburi city. It features a large ancient prang influenced by the art of the Khmer Empire, estimated to be 800-1,000 years old.
