📍Located in the heart of Phetchaburi City, on Damnoen Kasem Road, Khlong Krachaeng Subdistrict, Mueang Phetchaburi District, Phetchaburi Province

📃 It is a third-class royal temple, Worawihan type, with no clear evidence of when it was built, but it is assumed that it was built during the Dvaravati to Sukhothai periods, approximately 800 - 1,000 years old, as many remains of Dvaravati bricks were excavated within the grounds of Wat Mahathat.

📜 Inside the royal chapel of the temple, there is an important Buddha image, namely Luang Pho Sak Sits.
