Maya Bay in the morning without any tourists

#Krabi Travel When staying on Phi Phi Island, we can charter a boat to Maya Bay before the tours depart. We chose to charter a boat from our accommodation for 1,800 baht (the boat charter rate is shown on a large sign at the pier). It takes 6-7 hours. We made an appointment for the boat at 6 am because we had to return at 1:30 pm. The boat left in the morning when the sky was not so beautiful and the waves were strong. We were the first to arrive at Maya Bay pier. We walked along the path that the national park had built after Maya Bay had been closed for restoration for several years. We walked down to the beach and were the only ones there. We walked to take pictures with schools of small fish and blacktip sharks comfortably. In the morning, the officers will check the cleanliness and remove anything that could be harmful to tourists. We spent 1.5 hours at Maya Bay until people started to charter boats and then we left Maya Bay. It’s great to visit Maya Bay without seeing anyone.
