🌟Worship the Buddha, Luang Pho Phuttha Chinnarat | Phitsanulok🌟

🪷Wat Phra Sri Rattana Mahathat Woramahawihan🪷 or most people call it Wat Yai is a temple that enshrines Luang Pho Phra Phuttha Chinnarat, the most beautiful Buddha image in Thailand. It is located next to the Nan River, opposite Chan Palace.

🪷 Phra Phuttha Chinnarat is a large Buddha image in the Mara-Vijaya posture, built in the late Ayutthaya period, around 2299 BE. It is one of the unseen Thailand that tourists should not miss. Every year, from the 6th to the 12th waxing moon of the 3rd lunar month, there is a grand celebration. It is an annual event of Phitsanulok Province.

🪷 Inside the temple behind, there is also Phra Attharot, a sacred Buddha image of Phitsanulok. It is a large standing Buddha image in the attitude of forbidding relatives. It used to be covered by a chapel, but now the chapel has collapsed, so you can see the Buddha image standing outside.

🪷 The temple is free to enter. You can park your car behind the temple. And there are also souvenir shops, famous OTOP products of Phitsanulok Province, available at the parking lot.
