Wat Phra Sri Rattana Mahathat Woramahawihan, or as most people call it, "Wat Yai", is a first-class royal temple of the Woramahawihan type, located on Phuttha Bucha Road, on the eastern bank of the Nan River, opposite Phitsanulok Provincial Hall. Wat Phra Sri Rattana Mahathat Woramahawihan is a temple with a long history dating back to the Sukhothai period. It has beautiful architecture, art, and sculptures, and is considered a valuable cultural heritage of Phitsanulok.
This temple enshrines Phra Buddha Chinnarat, which is considered the most beautiful Buddha image in Thailand.
In addition to Phra Buddha Chinnarat, there are Phra Buddha Chinnasi and Phra Si Satsada, which were cast together during the reign of King Maha Thammaracha I (Lithai).
However, later Phra Buddha Chinnasi and Phra Si Satsada were moved to Bangkok, but replicas were cast to replace them and placed beside the Great Stupa. Inside the Great Stupa, the Buddha's tooth relic is enshrined. To make this land worship

And another sacred Buddha image is Phra Attharot, a Buddha image in the blessing posture, 18 cubits high, built in the Sukhothai period, which indicates the antiquity of this temple very well.
