“Big Temple” Wat Phra Sri Rattana Mahathat Woramahawihan

It is a first-class royal temple located on the banks of the Nan River.
Phutthabucha Road, opposite Phitsanulok Provincial Hall 

🕰 Opening and closing hours
• Temple: Open daily from 06:00 – 18:00 
• Phra Buddha Chinnarat Shrine: Open daily from 08:30 – 17:00 
• Phra Buddha Chinnarat National Museum: Open Wednesday – Sunday from 09:00 – 16:00 (Closed on Mondays, Tuesdays and public holidays) 

💰 Admission fee
• There is no admission fee for worship inside the temple and the shrine. 

📍 Travel
• Private car: From Phitsanulok city, take Highway 11 or 117 into the city. Then take Highway 12 (Phitsanulok-Lomsak Road) straight to the Provincial Hall. The temple is located opposite the City Hall. It is approximately 8.2 kilometers from Phitsanulok Airport. 
• Train: Get off at Phitsanulok Railway Station and take a taxi or bus to the temple. 
• Public transport: Songthaews and tuk-tuks are available from the bus station and important points in the city.

📌 What to do
• Dress code: Dress appropriately. Women should not wear short dresses or sleeveless shirts. If you do not have a sarong or jacket, the temple provides them for borrowing. 
• Photography: Inside the temple, you are only allowed to take photos while sitting. Standing photos are strictly prohibited.
