🏰Chan Palace: Tracing the history of Muang Songkhwae

If you're visiting Phitsanulok and want to experience history up close, Chan Palace is a must-see. It's an important site where King Naresuan the Great resided during the Battle of the Elephants. Inside, you'll find a shrine to King Naresuan the Great, housing his royal monument. The Chan Palace Historical Center also showcases exhibits about Chan Palace, Phitsanulok, and the life of King Naresuan the Great.

The surroundings are peaceful and quiet, perfect for strolling, taking photos, and learning about history. Admission is free. We recommend visiting in the morning or evening to avoid the heat.
