Wat Ratchaburana is an ancient temple of historical significance, located on Phutthabucha Road, near Wat Phra Sri Rattana Mahathat Woramahawihan (Wat Yai) and Wat Nang Phaya.
History and Features
Wat Ratchaburana was built during the late Sukhothai period. Evidence indicates that King Borommatrailokanat rebuilt the temple's main chedi during his reign in Phitsanulok. This temple is famous for its tall and magnificent Sri Lankan-style chedi. 🏛️ It is considered the tallest Sri Lankan-style chedi in Phitsanulok Province.
