Mae Nang Plueum Temple, Ayutthaya Province

📍 Wat Mae Nang Plueum | Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province

Wat Mae Nang Plueum was built in 1920 during the early Ayutthaya period. It is an abandoned temple that King Naresuan the Great renovated for Mae Nang Plueum. Mae Nang Plueum was an ordinary villager and named the temple
'Wat Mae Nang Plueum'

Places to worship and ask for blessings 🙏🏻 :

- Point 1 Ask for blessings from Thao Wessuwan: In front of the entrance to the ordination hall, ask for success in business and investment, or good fortune, career, and civil service exams.

- Point 2 Pass through a small wooden archway. Behind is the 'Phra That Chedi'. The old ordination hall looks powerful. Go inside the ordination hall to pay homage to the Buddha image "Luang Pho Khao", the principal Buddha image in the ordination hall. The Buddha image is beautiful. You can ask for blessings for everything according to your beliefs. Ask for each person.

- Point 3 The old chapel enshrines an old Buddha image together with Wat Mae Nang Plueum.

Behind the ordination hall, there is also an 'old principal chedi', a Sri Lankan-style chedi. On the base, there are stucco lions surrounding it.
