On a scorching sunny day with a clear blue sky, we set out to pay respects at Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon 🥰. If you're visiting Ayutthaya, one must-visit spot is the iconic Chedi Chai Mongkhon and the Reclining Buddha.

The towering Chedi of Wat Chai Mongkhon, with its Lanka-style design, is a symbol of King Naresuan's victory over the Burmese prince Mingyi Swa. Today, it stands as one of Ayutthaya's most significant historical attractions and is also part of the popular "Nine Temples Tour." Visitors can climb up the chedi to enjoy a panoramic view of Ayutthaya. Nearby, you'll find the serene white Reclining Buddha statue.
