I had heard that Phu Quoc was a resort area with a growing tourism market, so I wondered if it was okay to go there alone, but it was a little different from what I had imagined, and I really enjoyed it.
It's a compact island, just over an hour by car from north to south, but it has the world's longest sea-based cableway, and I couldn't help but think, "Is this Europe?"
It has a local side where you can get a glimpse into the lives of the local people, and you can see a lot of motorbikes running, which is exactly what you would expect from Vietnam. The scenery changes constantly, and it's like a theme park, so it was an interesting island☺️
