Banyan Tree Phuket... The world's first Banyan Tree was born in Phuket Province. It was the first Banyan Tree 27 years ago. It was first opened in 1994 and was the third hotel in Laguna Phuket to open after Dusit Laguna and Sheraton Grand Laguna (currently Angsana).
