Where culture is in every corner

I had no frame of reference or knowledge of this place until I arrived. Multi-colored Sino-Portugese historic buildings really give this a place a truly unique look. It is littered with almost endless streets of shops selling souvenirs of all kinds and also quaint and colourful shop houses. There are some really photogenic streets with lovely architecture and murals, and a lot of small bespoke shops with souvenirs, small handmade goods and clothing. The shop owners are not at all pushy and very polite! The biggest surprise to us was the number of cafes with varying themes and aesthetics! The Old Phuket Town is a attraction you don’t miss! Walking the streets in the Old town is very interesting experience. Take a break of the beaches and visit for half day the Old town of Phuket and you don’t be disappointed!
