The "Iu Keng" ceremony or "Processing the Buddha Around the City" is like a visit by the Kiew Ong Tai Tai, the president of this festival, to bless the faithful.

The main procession will be led by a procession of flags and nameplates, followed by a small palanquin procession, or "Cai Pie". Then it will be followed by a Chinese umbrella procession, "Nua Sua", and finally a large palanquin procession, "Tua Lian", of Kiew Ong Tai Te, with a medium joining the procession.
