• History
Wat Mongkol Nimit, or as Phuket locals call it “Wat Klang”, is a third-class royal temple, common type, located on Yaowarat Road, Mueang District, Phuket. It was built around 1880 during the reign of King Chulalongkorn. It was originally used as a place for religious ceremonies and important state ceremonies of the city.
