[Phuket] Old Phuket Town

#AbsolutelyFreeTrip

I went to Old Phuket Town, a streetscape that is alive with the history and culture of Phuket, Thailand! The rows of pastel-colored shops with Sino-Portuguese architecture made it feel like I was traveling through time! Soi Romanee Street in particular has the atmosphere of a former red light district, but now it is lined with stylish cafes and galleries, making it a treasure trove of photogenic spots!

There were also many food stalls, so I was able to enjoy street food and local flavors all at once, and I was very satisfied! At the night market "Lard Yai" on Soi Thalang, there were many handmade goods and food stalls, and I had a happy time experiencing local music and dance.

Old Phuket Town has everything: historical architecture, gourmet food, and art. I was able to experience a deep Phuket experience that was different from the beach, where I felt the intersection of culture and everyday life. It's a town that I want to return to for a leisurely stroll.
