Phuket Old Town – Heritage Vibes, Street Art & Night Market Fun

Phuket Old Town is where history and culture come alive, with colorful Sino-Portuguese architecture that takes you back in time. The streets are lined with old shophouses painted in pastel shades, cozy cafés and heritage buildings that tell the story of Phuket’s trading past.

The first spot I checked out was the Phuket Museum, a bright yellow building with a clock tower that stands out as an iconic landmark. What made it even cooler was meeting a friendly police officer nearby – he wasn’t just guarding the area but also happily helped tourists take photos.

As you wander around, you’ll spot street art murals tucked along the alleys, perfect for quick photo stops. By evening, the night market brings the streets to life with local food, souvenirs, clothes and crafts, buzzing with both tourists and locals.

All in all, Phuket Old Town is a must-visit if you want to soak in the local culture, heritage charm, and community vibes that make Phuket more than just beaches.
