Xibaipo Memorial Hall

The Xibaipo Memorial Hall is located near the former site of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. It is organized along a timeline and features 12 exhibition halls. From May 1947, when the Central Working Committee moved into Xibaipo, to March 1949, when the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the headquarters of the People's Liberation Army left Xibaipo to relocate to Beiping, the hall vividly depicts all major events during this period with rich text and images: the abolition of feudal land ownership, guidance of the Jin-Cha-Ji military struggle, unification of economic and financial work in the liberated areas, the September meeting held on the eve of the decisive battle, command of the three major campaigns, and the convening of the Second Plenary Session of the Seventh Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. The historical materials are abundant, and the text and images are clear. In the half-scene painting hall, paintings are combined with real objects, fully presenting the battlefield smoke and gunfire as if you are there, which is truly amazing! When tired, you can also sit down and watch some precious footage from March 1949 in Xibaipo. There are many exhibition halls, and it takes at least about an hour to see them all.
