Stunned by this seaside homestay in Pingtan! Just a 1-minute walk to the beach

This time in Pingtan, I headed straight to the southern route and discovered a magical homestay—Pingtan Hidden Sea. It’s truly the most photogenic cliffside sea view homestay I’ve ever stayed at! The combination of a prime sea view and an infinity pool is breathtakingly beautiful 🥹

📍 Location is perfect
Hidden on the cliff in Tianjiaowei Village, you get a 180° unbeatable sea view right from the window. At low tide, it’s just a 1-minute walk to a private beach! This beach is very quiet, with fine, clean sand. At sunset, the entire sea turns into an orange ocean 🌅, and every photo looks like a movie scene. The surroundings are completely away from the hustle and bustle, accompanied only by the sound of waves—a true secluded paradise~

✨ Full marks for the stay experience
▪️ Room: We stayed in the Lanhai Sea View Room, with the bed facing the floor-to-ceiling window, so you can watch the sunrise as soon as you open your eyes in the morning 🌄! The double rocking chair on the balcony is so romantic; my bestie and I took tons of atmospheric photos lying there (white long dresses recommended!)
▪️ Service: The host contacted us in advance to send the location. Upon arrival, there were welcome drinks and snacks. The biggest surprise was the free travel photography service. The photographer was amazing at finding angles, and the silhouette shots by the infinity pool blew up my social feed 💥
▪️ Facilities: The rooftop infinity pool faces the sea directly, with a stunning water-and-sky view! At night, the pool lights up from below, creating a dreamy vibe for photos~ The room is equipped with a high-definition projector, perfect for cozy nights watching sea view movies

📸 Top 3 photo spots
1️⃣ Cliff swing: Definitely wear a flowing long dress! Have your friends capture the moment you swing out from the side, with the deep blue sea as the background—pure fairy tale vibes
2️⃣ Glass window in the starry sky room: Shoot silhouettes against the morning backlight, with the composition of the person’s outline, morning light, and waves—absolutely stunning
3️⃣ Infinity pool: Best to shoot between 4-6 PM when the sunlight slants on the water creating golden sparkles. Scatter some petals on the lounge chair for even better shots

💡 Super practical tips
• Transportation: About 1.5 hours by car from Fuzhou Airport; the homestay offers free parking
• Dining: Includes breakfast for two; for dinner, the seafood stalls a 5-minute walk away offer great value
• Gear: Be sure to bring a straw hat, sunglasses, and bright-colored swimwear. The homestay provides props like woven bags and floating breakfast trays for photos
• Tides: Ask the host in advance about low tide times; you can collect starfish and shells while foraging at dusk~

Nearby activities recommended👇
✔️ Walk to the beach at dusk to see the Blue Tears (peak season April to June)
✔️ Rent an electric scooter for island cycling; the homestay can help book
✔️ 15 minutes by car to Houyan Island, a landmark just 68 nautical miles from Taiwan

I was completely moved by Hidden Sea’s attention to detail, from the fresh flowers changed daily to the sun-kissed scent of the bedding—you can feel the host’s care. If you want to stay immersed in the scenery when visiting Pingtan, this is definitely the place! 🌊
