Located on the east side of Qiaoling North Road in Bozhou City, on the north bank of the Wohe River, the Tomb of King Tang of Shang is the cenotaph of King Tang of Shang. King Tang reigned for 13 years and was buried in Bozhou after his death. The story of King Tang praying for rain in the mulberry forest has been passed down through the generations, and his merits are praised by the world. The Tomb of King Tang Park was built in his memory.
The existing Tang Mausoleum is a tall, circular mound, over 6 meters high and nearly 60 meters in circumference. A stone tablet reading " Tomb of King Tang of Shang Cheng " stands before the tomb. South of the tomb stands a 500 -year-old Chinese chinaberry tree, a tree that thrives. Inscriptions on the mausoleum's restorations over the centuries remain, but due to war damage, only the " Reconstruction of Tang Mausoleum " tablets from the 12th year of the Kangxi Emperor's reign ( 1681 ) and the 36th year of the Qianlong Emperor's reign ( 1771 ) remain, recording the various repairs. The ancient trees, mausoleums, and tombstones within the garden embody the hallmarks of an imperial garden.
