Today I took my parents to the ToroBanYu restaurant in Pacific, Pingtung. I think their environment is great, the service is good, and it is a great place for a meal! Even the toilet is filled with melodious music and is clean, and the small places are well taken care of! As soon as you enter the restaurant, you will see an art installation that looks like a bookcase. The restaurant is spacious with many seats. Although I didn't make a reservation today, I got a seat as soon as I arrived. The waiter was also very considerate and helped me to take your order.
There are salads, side dishes and soups before the main course. The salad I ordered was the smoked duck breast sesame salad. The sauce was poured separately. I think it goes very well together, and the salty and sweet taste is unforgettable!
Next is the braised king oyster mushrooms with sauce. The braised texture enhances the flavor of the king oyster mushrooms and adds a little point. Then came the soup. I chose the milky porcini and wild mushroom soup. The taste was very different from ordinary soups and very unique! For the main course, I chose beef and chicken, because I feel more satisfied when I can eat both, hahaha! My family and I will share each other's meals. I think the garlic-flavored beef is more tender and thick, and tastes more refreshing 😆. The garlic slices are really delicious and go well with the meat!
After the main course, I ordered Japanese food. I ordered curry rice balls. I think this was the only disappointing part today. The rice balls were a bit too dry and the curry sauce was not enough. I remember that it was not curry sauce but honey mustard before. I personally prefer the previous one! For desserts and drinks, I ordered hot brown rice salty milk tea and cheese. The milk tea and brown rice go well together, and the cheese and brown sugar are a perfect combination and very delicious. The above are just my own humble opinions that I would like to share with you!
Just take part in the survey and receive a free baked potato made by the chef! The meal cost $2138 for three people including service charge, which was a bit expensive, but we had a great time and it was worth it!
