The Dapeng Bay National Scenic Area Administration, established in November 1997, is located in Donggang Township, Pingtung County, within the Dapeng Bay Scenic Area. Its responsibilities include application services, guided tour reservations, service satisfaction surveys, tourism safety promotion, ecological inspections for tourism projects, and emergency notifications. Inside the administration, there is a visitor service center showcasing delightful miniature models of the main lanterns from Taiwan Lantern Festivals held across various counties and cities over the years. The park also features a charming auxiliary lantern from the Pingtung Lantern Festival, shaped like a pig named 'Ping An Pig,' and a striking white tuna art installation with the character '鮪' displayed on its tail, making it a must-visit spot for photos and social media check-ins. The surrounding area boasts rich biodiversity, with various bird species and aquatic plants thriving. Volunteers actively share knowledge about ecological conservation, and visitors can inquire further at the administration center for more information.
