The Liu Chunhua Art Museum is located on the upper plaza of the Anyuan Road and Mine Workers' Movement Memorial. He donated almost all of his life's works to the Anyuan Road and Mine Workers' Movement Memorial. Liu Chunhua's most famous oil painting is "Chairman Mao Goes to Anyuan," created in 1967, measuring 220 cm long and 180 cm wide. Do you know the most printed oil painting in the world? It's "Chairman Mao Goes to Anyuan," with over 900 million single-sheet color prints and over 50 million stamps.
Wow! In addition to the color-printed single sheets and stamps, countless crafts derived from this painting, such as Chairman Mao badges, plaster figures, tapestries, embroidery, and sculptures, were produced. Elementary school textbooks at the time also included this oil painting. The Republic of Niger in Africa also issued 3,000 wooden miniature sheets of "Chairman Mao Goes to Anyuan" stamps, with a single stamp face value of 6,500 West African francs, equivalent to 75 RMB.
Here, you can admire the masterpieces of Liu Chunhua up close, with every stroke revealing the master's ingenuity. If you feel you know nothing about art, don't worry. Each painting here comes with its own explainer—an electronic one, of course. You can learn while appreciating, instantly transforming from an "art novice" to a "painting and calligraphy expert."
Moreover, the Liu Chunhua Art Museum in Anyuan is not just a static exhibition space. It also regularly hosts various interesting activities. For example, you can participate in calligraphy workshops, personally wielding the brush and experiencing the joy of being a calligrapher. Or, attend an art lecture and listen to experts interpret these seemingly profound works of art.
