Pingyuan Provincial Scenic Area Wuzhishi

Pingyuan Provincial Scenic Area Wuzhishi is located in Chagan Town, Pingyuan County, at the junction of Guangdong, Jiangxi, and Fujian provinces. It encompasses four major landscapes: 'ecology, cultural relics, natural wonders, and celestial phenomena,' characterized by grandeur, danger, uniqueness, beauty, tranquility, and antiquity. In 1992, it was designated as one of the 'Natural Tourist Landscapes' by the National Tourism Administration; in 1999, it was designated as a 'Provincial Tourist Attraction' by the Provincial Tourism Administration; in March of the same year, it was approved as a 'Provincial Scenic Area' by the Guangdong Provincial People's Government; and in September 2000, it was recognized as a 'Great Place for Leisure and Vacation in Guangdong Province' by the Provincial Tourism Administration.
