Florence Day 3 – A Day Trip to Pisa, Exceeding Expectations

Today was the day I took a day trip from Florence to Pisa. Waking up early and taking a train for just over an hour, I quickly arrived in Pisa, a city smaller and quieter than I had imagined. However, as soon as I stepped into the 'Square of Miracles,' the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa unfolded before my eyes. Seeing the leaning tower in person, which I had only seen in photos, was far more impressive and strangely beautiful.

In addition to the tower, the Duomo and Baptistery were all gathered in one space, leaving me in awe. The view from the top of the tower was breathtaking. After descending, I bought a gelato nearby and sat on the grass, enjoying a leisurely moment.

On the way back to Florence after the short journey in Pisa, the Tuscan scenery outside the window felt warmer and more peaceful than ever. It truly felt like a day well spent.
