I recently visited Wat Ao Noi near Prachuap town, and it was such a peaceful little gem. The temple is known for its stunning woodwork—everywhere you look, there are intricate carvings on the doors, pillars, and even the ceiling. The craftsmanship is incredible, with so much detail in the Buddhist motifs and floral patterns.
Right by the entrance, there's a lovely pond surrounded by lush greenery, adding to the serene atmosphere. The temple isn't huge, but it has a quiet charm that makes it worth the visit. What’s really special is its location—just a short walk from a tranquil bay dotted with colorful fishing boats.
If you're in the area, it's definitely worth stopping by, especially if you appreciate traditional Thai architecture and a slower, more reflective kind of sightseeing. Just remember to dress modestly since it’s still an active temple. A perfect little escape from the usual tourist spots.
