Pu'er, a paradise in the forest! This small city in southern Yunnan is perfect for relaxing. Not only does it have tens of thousands of acres of tea mountains, but you can also experience the most authentic Dai ethnic customs🍵
Here’s a super chill 3-day, 2-night itinerary👇
Day 1: Slow life in the tea mountains
📍 China Pu'er Tea Expo Garden (No. 123 Longsheng Road, Simao District | 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM)
Entrance fee 35 RMB, remember to wear light-colored clothes for photos! The terraced tea fields covering thousands of acres are stunning, best lighting after 4 PM
📍 Nakeli Ancient Tea Horse Road (Tongxin Town, Ning'er County | Open all day)
Free attraction! Wear comfortable shoes and be sure to sit down at the "Century-old Teahouse" on the corner of the ancient town
Day 2: Pristine ethnic experience day
📍 Jingmai Mountain Ancient Tea Forest (Huimin Town, Lancang County | Open all day)
Recommended to rent a car and drive yourself, the mountain roads are steep but the scenery is breathtaking! For lunch, try the villagers’ "Roast Tea Chicken," only about 40 RMB per person, great value
📍 Wengji Ancient Village (Jingmai Village, Huimin Town, Lancang County | Open all day)
A primitive village of the Bulang ethnic group, the thousand-year-old ancient banyan tree at the village entrance is a must-visit, and you can experience handmade tea-making
