Choosing the right hotel for your trip to Pu'er is crucial!

We recommend the "Pu'er Pushe Huanongli Hotel," located on the top floor of Fuxing Plaza on Pu'er Old Street in Simao District, Pu'er City. It offers excellent value for money and a very comfortable stay.

The hotel is hidden on the top floor of a commercial building, featuring a stunning sky courtyard! Flowing water connects the views on both sides—one side is a Chinese-style courtyard surrounded by rocks and mountains, and the other is a modern Zen garden blending Chinese and Japanese Zen styles, even more photogenic than many thousand-yuan Japanese hotels. The public area includes a Japanese tea room, and the front desk provides tea leaves, making it convenient to bring your own tea for brewing.

We stayed in the spacious and clean "Zen Tea Brewing King Room," equipped with a Dyson hairdryer and Bluetooth speakers, making it super relaxing to listen to music while soaking in the bath. At under 600 yuan, the hotel even offers turndown and pillow-changing services, which is very considerate for those sensitive to sleep. The breakfast selection isn’t extensive, but the Yunnan rice noodles and er si are very authentic and a must-try!

The location is in the city center, just over a 10-minute walk to A Xian Sour Chicken Feet, making shopping and dining very convenient. It’s a 15-minute drive to the airport and high-speed rail station. The hotel offers airport and train station transfers and can help arrange a private driver (300 yuan/day, with professional commentary throughout the trip to Sun River Forest Park). Whether for business travel or a layover, it’s perfect—staying two nights was a great experience!
