Strolling through Songxi Ancient Village, the whole world slows down

Today I was fortunate to step into Songxi Ancient Village, as if stepping into a crack in time.

The Mingxi River flows gently, clear to the bottom, with koi and ducks playing together. The koi are colorful and graceful; the ducks sing loudly and walk happily. The dark creek winds through the ancient village like a mysterious ribbon.

The limestone houses are arranged in an orderly yet charming way, exuding a rustic atmosphere. A bowl of sweet wood lotus tofu dispelled the fatigue of the journey. By the roadside, a puppy curled up soundly asleep, looking adorably innocent.

I visited the ancient ancestral hall, feeling the weight of history. Sitting briefly in a coffee shop, gazing out at the ancient village, time seemed to stand still at this moment…
