Going to an island is a plan every spring and summer. I have visited most of the islands in Fujian Province. This year I chose Meizhou Island in Putian.

【How to get to the island】
To get to the island, you need to take the official ferry from Wenjia Wharf. The full price ticket is 125 yuan, including the round-trip ferry ticket + entrance fee
You can buy it in the mini app "Meizhou Island Ferry" (remember to bring your ID card! Pay attention to the last ferry time)

【Transportation on the island】
The island's transportation options include sightseeing buses, buses, shared bicycles, and electric vehicles.
It is recommended to rent an electric car, which is more convenient for stopping and going. It is difficult to wait for buses and sightseeing buses when there are many people. Electric cars are generally privately operated and can be rented in many places. You can bargain for the price. We rented one directly from a rental company near the Mazu Temple.

What to eat on the island
Meizhou Island has a rich variety of restaurants. In addition to the main local restaurants, there are also KFC, McDonald's, and various milk tea shops. You will never have to worry about having nothing to eat.
We randomly went into a restaurant and ordered Putian braised noodles, fried oysters and seafood soup, which were not very expensive.
