Daegwallyeong Sheep Ranch (483-32 Daegwallyeongmaru-gil, Daegwallyeong-myeon, Gangneung-si, Gangwon-do) offers a serene experience in winter. The air is crisp and clear, making even a single breath feel refreshing.

Walking slowly along the snowy path, the crunching sound underfoot and the sight of clouds breaking over the mountain ridges with sunlight peeking through create a scene straight out of a winter fairy tale.

Inside the warm, straw-lined pens, sheep with soft, fluffy wool approach leisurely. Their slow steps and the white breath escaping from their noses bring a sense of calm. Feeding them and listening to their bleats melted away my worries like snow. Spending this tranquil time with the sheep in the winter mountains was truly healing.

At this high altitude, the wind is cold, but the horizon is clear, and the air feels transparent. The view from the observatory resembled a black-and-white film—serene, warm, and beautiful.
