Whispers of the Wind: Exploring Huitengxile Grassland

The name “Huitengxile” means “cold plateau” in Mongolian, and true to its name, the area is situated on a high-altitude plateau at over 1,800 meters (5,900 feet) above sea level.

This elevation brings a cool climate, even in summer, and creates dramatic scenery filled with rolling hills, flower-filled meadows, and wind turbines that dot the horizon.
