Huitengxile: The Grassland Above the Clouds

Huitengxile Grassland (also spelled Hutongxile or Hutengxile) is one of the most stunning and well-preserved grasslands in Inner Mongolia, China.

Located in Chahar Right Middle Banner (a county-level division) in Ulaanqab City, it lies about 135 kilometers (84 miles) northeast of Hohhot, the capital of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
