When in Hohhot, make sure to visit Wulanhada Volcano Geopark!

It’s absolutely worth the 2+ hours journey from Hohhot. Lots of people dressed as astronauts here which is really cute. There are many volcanos around that you can drive around and visit them all but no. 6 seems to be the most popular one. Not to worry if you didn’t pack any food with you (I didn’t) as there are many vendors selling food and snacks in the area. There’s apparently a stall selling baked potato at no. 4 too but I didn’t get a chance to try it.
