The architectural beauty that seemed to have been carved out of a cliff took my breath away
The wind blowing through the pillars seemed to whisper the spirit of the queen
I felt proud that there was a queen in Egypt

And the Colossi of Memnon
A size that was hard to believe even when I saw it with my own eyes
I was in awe of the fact that they have stood here for thousands of years
A heritage that left a bigger impression on my heart than in a photograph

Luxor West Bank is not the ‘past’, It was 'now'
Sand, stones, sunshine, and even the wind
It was a day when everything told a story
