One must see this by getting on a boat (there are plenty that offers this service, almost like a train of shuttle boats).

The rapid flow of the lake, the merging of two rivers, and then the awesome big statue.

Take it in... Make sure your memory card is enough for the videos and pix.

Bring good shoes here and bring water for a hot day. It is a fairly easy hike made slower by the crowds. A good side attraction that we would recommend that is in the same area is the Oriental Capital. This can easily be accessed if you go up the right side of giant Buddha via the boardwalk instead of left up the narrow cliffside staircase.
