Qingdao's only ancient city, Jimogoucheng

To the north of Qingdao, Jimo City has the only old castle here.

And it's quite large.

Originally, Qingdao was a small fishing village before it was ruled by Germany,
and the most central place in this area was Jimo (即墨).

Jimo District Office was actually built based on the records of the old Qi Dynasty.
The old castle is largely divided into commercial and residential areas,
and the castle walls surround the area.
The surrounding apartments and the old castle give off quite a different feeling.
You can enjoy traditional Chinese snacks or walk on the old castle walls,
and although it's newly built and smells new,
you can feel the scale of the old Chinese old castle.
