If you're visiting Laoshan Mountain in Qingdao, I highly recommend the Giant Peak Scenic Area.

Laoshan has several scenic areas. I've been to both Taiping and Giant Peak, and in terms of scenery, Giant Peak is the winner!👍👍

👉I strongly recommend taking the cable car up the mountain! You can enjoy a bird's-eye view of the mountain scenery along the way. Look up to see the rugged peaks and look back to see the vast ocean meeting the sky.🔅

🔅1. Cable Car - Gateway to Heaven - Sun Gate - Bridge of Heaven - Star-Picking Pavilion
(You must come here to reach the summit for stunning views where the mountains meet the sea! It's breathtakingly beautiful!📸)
🔅2. Return down the same path to Vermilion Bird Rock - Kun Gate - Iron Chain Bridge - Dui Gate

👉Tips for viewing the sea of clouds:🌟
The sea of clouds at the summit is essentially fog.
It usually appears in spring and winter, especially after rain or snow. We were so lucky to see it during our climb in September!😊
You can check for the presence of the sea of clouds in advance via live stream on your phone! The "Laoshan on Your Phone" mini-program is super convenient!😍
