Above the clouds - Beat the crowd, embrace the view!!

If you’re in Qingdao and need a break from the city, Laoshan is an absolute must. ⛰️✨ I spent around 5 hours exploring one of the mountain’s most scenic spots – including a few relaxing stops to take in the views, snap photos, and enjoy the quiet.

The experience was breathtaking – quite literally at times – and 100% worth the time. But here’s my pro tip: go early! ⏰ By 16:15, the queue for the cable car back down was massive. We ended up waiting nearly an hour. So if you want to avoid the crowd, plan to start your descent well before then.

🎒 Tips:
• Bring water and light snacks
• Wear good shoes – there are stairs
• Avoid weekends if possible
• Take your time – it’s not a race, and the higher you go, the better it gets!

Honestly, this was one of the highlights of my China trip.
