Qingdao is simply my dream loft home

🏨 Name: WeekendHome B&B (Jinkou Second Road Branch)
💛 Don’t want to move! Curling up on the balcony rattan chair watching the leisurely charm of old Qingdao courtyards 🌅 When the wind carries the sea breeze over the red tiles, even the freshly brewed Laoshan green tea feels refreshingly pure.
The succulents on the courtyard flower rack, the old Qingdao picture books on the bookshelf, peeling local oysters around the small table! This place truly understands the slow life of the island city.
🏡 This time I stayed at 📍 WeekendHome B&B (Jinkou Second Road Branch) in Shinan District, Qingdao, just a 10-minute walk to Lu Xun Park—absolutely perfect.
⭐️ This B&B is hidden in the red tile alleys of the old town 📍. Opening the window, you see white bed sheets fluttering on the clothesline, and the bamboo woven small table on the balcony faces a low wall covered with climbing roses. Early morning, leaning on the windowsill waiting for the aroma of steamed mackerel from the neighbor auntie to drift over, even the wind carries freshness.
🌿 The B&B courtyard grows hydrangeas and mint, the living room coffee table holds freshly bought local cherries. Sitting on the stone steps at the door watching cats chase light spots, time drifts into the afternoon. It’s just right for a walk to Badaguan to see the old foreign-style houses.
❗️ Suggest booking three weeks in advance for the courtyard king bed room; slow strollers love it, and it sells out fast in peak season.
❗️ The B&B lends vintage cameras and sun hats, and the owner will give you a map of secret photo spots in the old town.
❗️ The island city’s seaside wind is strong and cool in the early morning and evening, bring a knitted cardigan; it’s perfect to wrap up in for an evening walk by the sea.
❗️ A 5-minute walk away is an old noodle shop serving seafood braised noodles with mackerel dumplings. After eating, you’ll be so satisfied you squint your eyes. Back at the B&B, nestle into the sofa watching small decorations made from oyster shells, and even the thought of going out fades away.
