Jiuhua Mountain is a sacred Buddhist site and one of the Four Great Buddhist Mountains of China.
Location: Chizhou City, Anhui.
Key features: The area is a pilgrimage destination for Buddhists, particularly followers of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva. It features 99 peaks and numerous temples. Visitors can also enjoy its unique natural scenery.
Recognition: It is also recognized as a UNESCO Global Geopark.
